we're getting this bed, nic...the construction is great:

mount your tv on the wall...trust me, it's worth the effort. there'll be sailor talk while you get the cables down through the wall, but once it's done it's done. and the brackets are very easy to install as long as you know where your studs are.
hehe...i ALWAYS know where my studs be at ;)

omg marina...that bed looks amazing...but even if I had the $$..I don;t know if I could throw down that much for one!!
I love Room and Board...but much like DWR..I think so much of their stuff is overpriced...

u know we used to think so, but we bought a bookshelf and a cabinet from them. the bookshelf is ALL dovetailed and has no hardware at all. it's beautiful.
they use responsibly harvested hardwoods and jointery as much as possible. there is little hardware in the bed, too.
we figure we want to buy one nice bed which we'll keep for a long time, and in the grand scheme of things, that's not expensive. THIS is expensive:

stupid frames...heres' that link:
- madirish0
you do not want to know how much i dropped on a bed frame.
totally second -sputnik- there w/ buying it once. it is really important to know how/where/why your products come from

right on madirish. we spend on furniture, but we buy slowly and carefully and know we're buying some of these things once.
- radar0
yeah you don't want conflict furniture

I bought something very similar to this for my setup. Except I have two of them side by side and they have doors with glass windows that I can close to hide the electronics but still send signals via remote to. It's really nice.
