more like John Jay, no?

technically impressive to the point of overshadowing the work itself.

I did it
ok, maybe not, sick interface, how many line of A.S do you think??

congratulations on making the most confusing site ever.
- mimeartist0
search tool is good though... should of just had that

why is it 'confusing'? i think it is super-intuitive.
this is a visual display of all their content through volumetric representation. while that sounds snobby, it is really simple.
what part of the UI did you not enjoy?

I'm too stupid and lazy for it; god bless them for trying to reach me though

i think it's fantastic. smells a bit of the news map thing, though.

hmmm, kind of interesting but overwhelmingly annoying. jerky, obfuscating interface

It's nice but the thing that made me think it might not work that well is that I know Wieden + Kennedy most because of all the honda work they did, yet when I looked at the timeline, the word honda didn't jump out at me. Surely the most high profile projects should be most visible.
W+K are still at the top of their game, glad they did something interesting for their site even if most won't appreciate it.
- madirish0
interesting, Baskerville. so then, the most high-profile item they have done to *you* should be most visible? surely the work for Nike or ESPN is far more prolific and have recieved both higher awards and more awards than the Honda commercial.
but i agree with you on your idea; why not have what the user recognizes most, be easily risen to the top, followed by supporting or related content that the agency has done.
- mimeartist0
and why have it all snazzy when in the end all the work is just shown in a little letterbox in the middle?
seems like a cop out / after though

That site sucks big time. Hated using it and doesn't promote their work well.

Runs as slow as a snail on the sticky backside of a sticker.
not my cup of tea. i jsut want to see the work asap.
clicked away after 12.6 secs.

I think maybe it's that in the UK the honda work is the most well known and awarded work they've done recently. I'm only really familiar with the London branch's work since I don't get much chance to see US advertising. You should be able to sort by location definitely also maybe by awards, or a few other factors, it would help make the timeline less busy and confusing,
