Is it lame to put invitations designed for friends in your folio?
These tend to be the more creative print jobs (and worst paid jobs) for me as my job is very corporate and most of the work I do can't be shown online as it's all internal confidential information.
Any thoughts?

One of the most inspiring sites I've seen in the past couple of years had a brilliant wedding invite in the portfolio section.
Can't remember the site, or the invite, but there you go - I'd say 'yay'.

If the idea is good. And the execution professional why not?
I've got one in my folio.

I despise the idea that the supposed importance of a client or job is more relevant than the quality of the design. We're in the profession of designing, not the profession of being in a profession.
FUCK THAT SHIT!

put good shit in your book to make your book good shit. period.

If it is good, it is just that.

it's seems so obvious, but it's surprisingly easy to overlook at times.

Ok cool. If I was fronting up for an interview I could produce more stuff but I dont have that much for general viewing. Have been doing a lot of Wedding and party invites lately and they seem to be the fun jobs.
thanks for the feedback.
