if you mean wearing too many clothes, then yes.

This is all a ruse, isn't it?
You're not actually a professional photographer, but nonetheless, each week you go out on to the streets of Hong Kong pull aside poor wee innocents and tell them earnestly that you can 'make them a star'. Then you drag them down to some quiet secluded spot, take a few pictures, then, when their guard is down.. ye gods, I don't even want to think what you do then.
I just hope they make it back. I hope there aren't girls going missing and peculiar concrete blocks appearing from under the sand in coves and inlets around HK.
You sick, sick bastard.

upon close inspection, i don't dig over photoshopped look. and the backgrounds are often blurry. being a bright day, one would expect the photos to be more in focus.

nairn, no i'm not a professional. I want to learn to be better though. These are just friends. I'm not sure how your comments are helpful though.
jaylarson, yeah some of them are abit I suspect. that's why I'm asking. however some of the backgrounds are completely in focus. what about those ones?

here is an example of an over photoshopped image:
http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom…what camera are you using? it isn't listed on your page which is why i am a bit suspect.
finding the balance between having the sun at the model's backs, out of their eyes, and shining on their faces, allowing you to get good detail, will be difficult, but not impossible.

You wanted helpful on a Saturday morning?
I'm no photographer, but if you want my opinion, I think they're mostly overwrought - either over saturated, over light or over dramatic. Others appear to be too dark or non-contrasted (orange ones) or, bluntly, photoshopped. The ones that do strike a balance appear to be ruined by the half-assed limbering of your, frankly, peculiar and desperate model, Regina.
For instance, the two pics where she is covering her muff with a hat - both could be quite nice shots, were it not for the vaguely pathetic and malpostured hint at pornography. Or the last shot, which could be beautiful, were it not for the fact that she looks like she's trying to hold in a jobby (489929035).
The one shot I like is the B&W one where she is lying down (489898868) and I would like this one (489916865), if it didn't look like it'd been fiddled with so much.
I think the main problem here is Regina - she's far too self-conscious / aware. I'm not sure whether this is just her personality, or maybe you're prepping her too much, but it makes for an uncomfortable, unnatural viewing experience.

she's not a real model. also the only fiddling being done is with the new camera raw controls in CS3. that's probably why some of the egdes at 100% look funny.
thanks for the comments though, they make sense.
