i posted this link yesterday but the title of the post obv wasnt good enough to get people to click on it.
The idea is simple and original: take the vibrant and often transient art form of Brazilian graffiti out of its predominantly urban context and apply it to the ancient and permanent walls of an historic rural castle in Scotland.
This is awesome stuff, i mean - how many National Historic Trusts would let graffiti artists COVER and entire castle!!

heh, I saw this on the box the other day - BBC, I think. Amusingly, the presenters couldn't help showing their disdain for the project.
Can't say I like the particular graffiti style but I really love the idea and would like to see it from afar, in deepest Scottish winter.
I hope they continue doing it over the years to come.. just, maybe, with different artists :)

some of the graffiti bits are good, its a few artists so i guess some bits WILL be better than others.
i never thought of that - imagine what the castle will look like when all the surrounding area is covered in snow! :O
