It was fun to read though :)

yeah, "it looked ok when the web guy showed me it" is quite obviously bollocks.
i've used the "it was fine a minute ago, have you cleared your cache?" excuse a few times whilst quickly uploading the correct file.

it's so childish when disgruntled employees resort to having the last bitchy word

On the last night after we all got made redundant at Macromedia my then boss (who was a cunt) told me that it was thanks to a comment HE had made that I didn't get the job I was after at Adobe.
"The job would have been yours but then I spoke to them...."
Next time I see him I'm going to thank him, now I earn more than I would have at Adobe and have a much more challenging job. Him being a cock was the best thing that ever happened to my career. And it will really fuck him off to know that :)

glad to hear all is well, but intent is 9/10ths of the law or some such, and his intent was to be a fucker. why would someone screw with another person's job?
if you ever hear that he caught his sack while jumping a fence, know that karma sent you a wink.

true blaw, I had thought of phoning the guy at Adobe and saying how my boss had told me that he had scuppered my chances and that I was disappointed that they didn't look at my application on merit.
(more to land the cunt in the shit than anything else) But then I thought, nah fuck it karma will deal him turdLightning for it :)

Writing a letter to get how you feel off your chest is fine, and can be cathartic.
Rarely if ever, actually send it out.

IMO bad idea to vent in a resignation letter. a resignation letter should basically be a couple of line saying something along the lines of "i hereby tend my resignation as of... . My last day employed with your company will be ... . Thank you for the opportunity and good luck."
keep it professional and save your venting for the exit interview.
- epete220
im an asshole and even i would keep it nice and simple
- kelpie0
what did the guy have a word to Adobe about emecks, the NT incident? :D
- emecks0
just said I was a dick basically kelpers. Fact it's true is neither here nor there really ;)

if you haven't been happy in your position, you should have left a long time ago... it sound like you're just trying to pawn that bitterness off on someone else because of your own complacency.
in fact, you should go in and apologize for holding a grudge and offer to help find a better replacement than yourself for your position, then leave and make a better man out of yourself...
i'm just sayin'
- chossy0
I'd send the letter, but I'd write something allot better than what you did I'd probably call them all gay blades and shit lovers or something to that effect he he cross me and you'll feel my grown up swear words broadside you like nae cunt.
- spendogg0
Keep it simple and professional - then go into your rant as you hand them the letter.

you were always my favourite chossy.
