Can anyone recommend a brand or place to purchase blanks t-shirts. I am looking for quality (not too thin) and something that is a little longer on average or comes in tall sizes. Generous cut. No skinny man emo shirts please.

I like both sites but blankshirts is cool because they have good deals without having to buy a lot.
Which Gildan shirts do you prefer 5000, 2000, etc? Do the poly ones shrink much less?
These Champion ones look good too:

Hanes Beefy T is a nice thick T, Ive printed on those a llot, and they dont have the skinny, tight fit.

sorry but AA are everything seed said he does *not* want;

call a local screenprinter and ask them about it. 9 times out of ten they are a wholesaler and you can get good deals by the case and stuff and shit.

If you are a wholesaler, you can get custom AA shirts made for not much more.
I'm 6'3 and long in the torso, the normal length American Apparel L tees fit me pretty well, though the black tends to shrink a bit more than the lighter colors.
If you're looking for heavier duty, try the 50/50 blend, the pocket t or the tri-blend. But avoid the summer shirt, it's pretty thin.
How many are you looking for?

from my experience gildan
it's what most college apparel is printed on (i know this)
no twisting or shrinkage, thick durable huge over-sized sizes available (up to XXXXXL)
the 2000 is the heavier weight and has more sizes/colors but on avg about .20 more per t
2000's for color/quality and consistency
