Facebook is all the lame ass gang mentality of the school yard directly translated to the internet.
Its a great democratiser (is that a word?), in the same way shell suits were in the 80's....it makes everyone who appears in it to look like a right twat.

The Democratiser? That starred Edward Woodward, didn't it?
Nice shell suit analogy, Bottlerocket - but would you even lump Sergio Tacchini shell suits in with all the other plebishness? They really were a cut above the common.

I still have a Sergio Tacchini top.
It is the hottness.

Why would one fold an email? They don't need to fit in an envelope do they?
*licks stamp and puts it on gmail letter

is your screen covered in stamps by now?

i don't know. if my dog is away it gets a bit crowded with stamps. otherwise they are gone pretty fast.

i always do mailers at 600 wide. seems to be a common standard amongst the large brand company mailers i get, so i just go with the flow.
as for the height yeah 250 sounds about right.
i reckon as long as you get the main message of the email in that area then other less important stuff can go beneath.
that top 250 pixels should contain some imagery/text thats going to make the person scroll down or click to open the email.
