Isn't #3 already a logo for a clothing line?

Sorry acedeuce I am not feeling any of these.
They are all quite varied, and none of them seem very cohesive between the -S and the -& Co.
Inside of the -S, you can actually make the -C -& and -O ... not sure if you want to explore that at all.
Two cents.

meant in a nice way:
i think you found your "throw-away" ideas, time to get down to business :)

They look like ass.
Your portfolio is way too nice for those logos.

maybe it's just me, but Spanish Fly and these logos don't do it for me....

(Aug 14 07, 09:43)thanks. thats y i appreciate your guys' honesty. i've been look'n at this shit too long.
most people i talk to like the 1st one because they can see the wings...no?
not sure if i want to incorporate the & Co. in with the S tho.
keep em' coming. ANYTHING u guy's like?

i like ampersands rather than + symbols.
i like 3 the best. or should i say, i dislike 3 the least.
i agree with jox about yr portfolio though. keep 'em coming.

I don't see 'Spanish Fly' in any of them. Not even an 'F'?
I'd only use a single letter logoform for a single-worded brand - you have two.
Visually, I like #1 & #3 - but I don't think they represent.

Second one reminds me of the New York Times for some reason.
I agree with whoever said #4 shows the most promise. It's kinda rough and the + doesn't fit, but it's the most original of the bunch.

Kinda similar.
The color palettes imply an ambigous corporation trying to be fun.
Not much about it looks "hipster".

I thought the majority said nay to all of them...
- gramme0
Hmm
Have you explored any other directions? I don't think you've found the winner yet...sorry

the & CO. looks like an afterthought in all of them. i would spend some more time incorporating it into the design, not just adding it below.

i would honestly say that if the brand is "spanish fly & co" you need to treat the S as well as the F as primary elements.
as-is it seems like S, & and Co. are you primary elements and you're missing a large piece of the puzzle. give that F some love.

Do a fly with the spanish flag in it and get some sleep.
