Am i the only person who struggles to make a decision on how you want to represent yourself?
I cant decide on a look for my online folio.

No every designer is his own worse critic, just make a decision and stick to it! Just don't use stock images from Getty!

i think i've gone thru about 10 different revisions and designs of my new site in the last 3 months.
making a one pager 'temporary' portfolio cos i hate my current site and so that i don't feel like a complete failure :(

I'm in the same boat matey! It's been a nightmare!!!
Keep changing my mind on format.
Iv gone from doing a WP site, to slim box to simple viewer to iCarousel and back to simple viewer again. After half a day I end up changing my mind again.
I'll prob end up learning flash and doing it that way.:-/

yes, it's killiing me too. Been years now since I got anything together online.
Solution is develop it real quick, like in 1 day so you've no need to come back to it. Trouble is anything I do in one day looks like it's been thrown together.
Can't win...

I'm the same. Just create a temp one pg folio like what NTer's said.
Thats what I've done.

Does everyone one else use a printed portfolio aswell? Or just their online one on laptop?
Just wondering if there is any point in updating my physical folio at the mo.

phew glad im not alone!
never been a fan of those one page efforts to be honest i feel its just a bit lazy. the main thing is to get it built i suppose.
urgh.

for me the trouble with one page portfolios is that having multiple pieces together influences how you see each one independent of its own merits or deficiencies

just remember that nobody actually needs a website..
