Anyone else have this?
I fell awkwardly a few weeks back and I felt my kneecap pop out and then pop back into place right before I fell. I think I embarrassingly slipped on my pant leg or something.
After I finished heaving, I kept telling myself the pain would go away (this is why I can usually deal with this stuff).
Went to the clinic last week and the doctor diagnosed me with the above syndrome, saying that my kneecaps moved too freely. She then said that I didn't really need an x-ray. She was like, "You can take some Advil...if you want, or something...and do special exercises". Okaaay.
My knee started getting better...until two days ago when the pain came back stronger. So much so that I can only move my leg in a limited number of specific ways.
I've decided to go to the hospital after work today (since I could barely walk to work) and hopefully they can tell me something more.
(maybe this belongs in the blog thread...)

As long as I can get it properly diagnosed:

Ouch! Is this from the time you spent away from NT?
Hope its not too bad, can you get anyone to do a Mr Miyagi style patch up till you get to see the doctor?

I'm going to Toronto for the next two weekends and working in between, so I definitely have to see the doctor tonight.
ian, I think part of it is hereditary, and part of it is actually from doing activities.

Damn. Well go see the doc and get it sorted, and no hoola-hooping for the forseeable future!

thanks.
I really think I need better support for my shoes as well.
