anyone have any good links to stuff...I'm googling around right now but I figure I'll ask incase someone there and knows some good sites. A client asked me to make him something with an eastern european feel...not quite sure what that is he said he likes squares and flowing lines... :S

well you have a lot to explore - starting in Kandinski and most of the bauhaus and work your way up into former-communist countries propaganda.
Maybe NT citizen elms can give you a few links. there's a nice mag that gathers work from EEU designers and illustrators but i can't remember its name.

yeah after looking at a map and knowing he's italian i think I shouldnt have taken his advice of eastern european, I think he wants something italian more so then eastern european.

ok i'm definitely lost now.
but if he's italian he's probably not mistaken about "eastern art". Surely not Italian since Italy always considered itself the center (and honestly, in my op). Probably a specific idea. I would check again with him.
