This is Sea Shadow, the Navy's first first stealth vessel and the inspiration for the stealth ship in Tomorrow Never Dies. It can now be yours, for free. But there's a catch. The catch is, the Navy is insisting upon donating it in tandem with a giant, ugly, rust-laden submsersible barge called the Hughes Mining Barge. The vessel was actually used as a floating dock for the Sea Shadow, protecting it from the prying eyes of Soviet spy satellites.- Hang on, they used a submarine to hide it from satellites? Surely they coudl just report on the submarines location instead?shitehawke

Duchenne made his first public reference to his lengthy study of the relationship between muscular contraction [facial] and expressed emotion, via a process he delineated as 'faradism,' in which electrical stimmulus is applied directly to or through the skin by rheopore. Duchenne enacted this mechanism on both the bodies of his patients and still-malleable cadavers which were photographed during the electrical activity in order to isolate and classify their muscular actions.
