g'dae, girls..
I've just discovered that I've been on my current job for about 1,5 years now with fairly little progress... so I'm considering relocating to london.
Any ideas, what I would be looking at? How's the market over there at the moment, competition tough?
All together I have been working as a graphic designer for around three years plus a couple yrs freelance before that.
Don't have a degree (yet - did one year at London Metropolitan Uni. until finances ran out then returned to Estonia). Experience is probably beyond estonian average (current job involves only uk/international clients.. incl. pretty big ones).
What are the odds of finding decent employment in London at this time and what level should I apply for? Probably junior :S
thanks

market ain't bad, aim for mid-weight I reckon and you are really missing a trick asking such a Q and not showing your book.

alright, men..
the book I'd prefer to keep covered from the public for now.
the question was more of a bigger-picture-kind rather than individual. I'm just looking for a status of the current situation in lndn.
but thanks

you'll never be a rich designer in london. I've been here 2 years and can't wait to leave. London is too fucking expensive unless you're a hermit. Also if you don't like pints, don't bother coming.
