I guess the programmers should probably have included a don't shoot friendly troops line in the code somewhere.
Still to be fair, there are enough friendly fire incidents as it is, how would a machine know any better.

but having them now on the battlefield is rather different then only testing them.
the sad thing is that it was stopped only when it run out of bullets.
