this is supposed to be easy:
http://demos.mootools.net/if that's still too complex, stick with a plain-jane 1pager.
big images please. ;)

Wow, thats more like it. I must admit I quite like it whats easier than clicking on an small image opening up a bigger version and then clicking again to go back???
Basically I was interested to know what it was called, how it was done and everybodies opinion on it...
I agree, it is totally over used and not "cool" any more!
Any more solutions out there that are as useful?

Here is what 37S has to say:

(Oct 23 07, 13:15)They're talking out of their arses on this one.
They don't raise any truly valid points and if it was anyone else other than 37s who posted such a rant they'd be dismissed as being stupid.

"Lightboxing kills context, and worse, it kills personality. Every image in every lightbox is the same, floating in the same generic universe, cut off and disconnected from your site, your style, and your design."
i don't know jamble, i'd say the above is a valid point.

While I understand the principle behind inexexhibit and I see that the work on show is really cool. The style itself is fugly, and looks a wee bit amateurish imho.
I aint the shizzle when it comes to this kinda thing and I don't want to detract from the work on display but thats just my ¢2. I'd prefer to built my own fugly site instead.

Yes, but you can customize it if you don't like the base template. Which, btw, is modeled after Eatock's site.
We might release some other template sets in time that are a little more than this...
