Came up with this last night... Since the writers guild is on strike and there are not going to be any more new sitcoms on tv for a while, why not have a week where the networks all broadcast their line-up from 1987? For example, ABC would have Who's the Boss, Growing Pains and Moonlighting on Tuesday nights.... NBC would have the Cosby show.... I think people would really enjoy that for a week.

That would be cool, but I do not think possible. After a show fades away I believe its rights are not solely those of the broadcast company who initially paid for it...
That is just a guess though.
I'm in pictures, I don't pay for them.

why 1987? cuz of 2007?

i think if the 80's were re-broadcast, jevad might spontaneously combust from sheer excitement...

What flavor said could be true. I remember some channel had issues with rerunning shows over and over again because they only had the rights to rerun them once through or something.

I know I would, madirish.

Yup, cycle rights, syndication rights, it's a long list why that will never happen. Fun idea though. Tunein on Sat. morning and catch some Snorks and Monchichis.
