This is the advert that AMV/BBDO made for the little ant-bullying charity that my sister works for. They did it all pro bono, for absolutely nothing.
I think it's a really strong ad, I'm impressed that big agencies do important work for small charities for free:

*steals baskervilles lunch money and laughs at his trainers.
- skt0
not a bad advert though

The ad would have more impact if the 'victim' didn't look like Ian Beal from Eastenders.

Is ant bullying a problem?
I feel so guilty.

Joking aside, good ad.

i think it's a good ad.
you just forget that this goes on with kids and adults if you never experienced it

there was something on the news this morning about bullying in schools and they were setting up groups of older kids for the younger kids to talk to rather than teachers or parents which seemed to work well.
what they SHOULD do is bring out an advert that didnt have an anti-bullying headline and was nondescript and just came on at random times on tv. or it could be a sketch from a popular show like Little Britain etc and it featured everyone chanting back at a bully something like "YOU ARE THE GAY BULLY!"
If successful then it would become a catchphrase in playgrounds across the country just like "joey deacon" or "mong!" etc and we'd see gangs of kids gathered round the bullies shouting "GAY BULLY! GAY BULLY" - thus giving the bullies a taste of their own medicine.Vicious circle you say?

steal their trainers and laugh at their lunch money would be crueler!

That's pretty smart.

same choss, same, made me think about how fucking unfair the whole thing is. hopefully might wake a few other people up.
- chossy0
True, it's a nightmare as I used to get into trouble for fighting but basically I had no choice, I made sure they didn't hit my pretty face though.
I feel bad about one guy he kept bullying me so I fucking kicked him on the wheenis, and he ran to the bogs and I followed him in and he was bleeding from it and crying. So I helped him to the nurses.
- kelpie0
that's what makes you better than them chossy.
I couldnae really fight back cos I used to bury people's heads in sandpits and assault them with tin trucks when I was really wee, to the extent that my parents sought help for their psychotic child and from then on hitting people was the worst thing I could possibly do till I was about 16, then I learned guitar and just became way cooler than them :D
- chossy0
:'(
I never learned the guitar,"my hearts bleeds and I've got my reasons love costs rivers of wine and pain is like treason for your soul"
This would be a line from a song I might have written had I been musically minded which obviously I'm not.

Bullying these days involves guns and knifes though - not just stealing another kids marbles.
That's why teachers don't want to deal with it - they're fucking terrified.
- chossy0
In the borders I witnessed one of my teachers getting his ass kicked !!! he was helpless as people were basically shouting kick his ass he can't lay a finger on you fucking kick his ass.
