Huh. Couldn't say I was a fan. Sad though....too young...

That's too bad. Another piece of my adolescence fades away.

This song brings back a memory of when I was a real young kid. I was 8 when this song came out and I had just gotten done playing a baseball game. I was walking back to the car 20 or so feet behind my parents when we walked past a car that was playing this song. Standing in the open door of the car was a girl who was 2 years older than me from school, wearing a Quiet Riot T-Shirt singing along to the song. She grabbed me and pulled me over to the car to sing with her. My mom came running back and grabbed my arm and pulled me away. She was like "You don't talk to her.... that girl is.... *looks at the girl... looks at her shirt*.... trouble. I know what girls rock your boys means..." like we were some preachers family or something. Every time I hear that song I laugh about that day. It's funny cause my parents were totally not like that, I guess they were protecting me from turning into the inevitable womanizing man-whore.
- haha! that's a good memory! rock chicks rule : )
pascii - Did you ever ask your moms what "girls rock your boys" means? I would....TheBlueOne
- Nah, I knew what it meant, I could see it in the eyes of that 10 year old chick. She wanted to share our sticker collections.k0na_an0k

RIP
now who is going to break the news to jevad?

Even though their songs really were horrible, this was my first favorite band in elementary school, and my first tape, which I hid from my mom. My best friend and I would play this loud in his backyard and jump all around, thinking we looked cool. :(

Thats fucked up. I was watching a VH1 docu-dramah on them last week. Very underrated band. RIP

I remember I was a freshman in High School when that song came out and I was dating some girl that lived like an hour away from me in the middle of nowhere CT. I remember going to a school dance with her where you had a bunch of high school kids dancing to Quiet Riot and Def Leppard. Weird cause you really can't do that, but heck, it was whiteburbia and no one there can dance anyways no matter what. I don't think I even got to first base with that chick come to think of it...ah...the 80's.....

I hope he went out with hookers and coke....

When I was a kid I was watching 'Solid Gold' with my folks and they were all fired up about the performance of some do-wop band.
My face must have forecast my feelings watching the insipid performance, because my dad turned to me and said, "Just wait until you have kids and you'll be singing 'Hit your head' while they roll THEIR eyes."
- What kid could not empathize with 'hitting their head'? Makes metal trans-generational.TheBlueOne
- I still get a kick out of the old man saying that. Even then I was like, "man, so close."blaw
