Went to the Lionel Ritchie concert yesterday in Melbourne at "a Day on the Green"...
He's a pure showman, absolutely brilliant.

Years ago, I was going out with this woman. And a high school friend of hers was coming back to Detroit to visit, after being out in LA for a few years.
Anyway, the LA woman was a really sexy blonde, and it turned out that she was actually a call girl for the Hollywood/MovieStar scene.
She would spend "time" with a guy, and then sell him a really overpriced ficus tree (like $500!!). And this would serve as a "cover" to the authorities for her prostitution activities.
And she told me, "usually a guy I'll hook up with will work out for a night or two, and that will be 2 or 3 ficus trees. Maybe a weekend, they'll get enough to do their whole lobby, or entrance hall. But Lionel Ritchie took me to Hawaii for over a week. After that, he had to buy a whole truckload of ficus trees!"
