Quite Frankly.... American culture/lifestyle seems very backward from the rest of the world. They're like that kid that thinks he's right, but will argue with everyone else (the world) even though he knows he's wrong. They don't care about anyone but themselves, and it's no wonder 2/3 of the world dislike them...
- AHAH! wtf. You're almost to ignorant to be an active account.JKristofer

i have a few canadian friends and i must say that although i respect them, their sanctimonious attitude towards the perceived backwards-nature of the US is tiresome at times.
- I think it has to do with the fact that the U.S. is far more Republican than Canada. Our Conservatives are a joke comparedjuhls
- compared to yours. All-in-all, there are certain events and issues that will trigger bad feelings. In both countries.juhls
- But we're still friends....

Canadians are fucking boring and Americans aren't half as bad as they are portrayed.
Where are all of Canada's supposed "brains" getting us?

Our views of the U.S. are heavily influenced by your media and politics... some of which we disagree with. However, many of us know that the average, everyday American is typically a decent person with the same concerns and struggles as we have.
I'll be honest though, nice or not, the stereotype of the average US citizen being less aware of the world outside their borders seems accurate based on my travels down there.
A quick example, I know the geography of the US pretty well, but when an American asks where I am from, the only way they understand it is to tell them what state(s) are below the province.

He didn't say "people of".
"I'd like to know from you Canadians out there the unbiased point of view of what Canadians think of America."

My question for you "Iggyboo", is if you got dissed by one person from canada, why would you put this question on Canadian people in general. You must have either already thought of us in a different manner, or heard alot from other americans.
To answer your question, no we don't all dislike americans.

If you have a blanket dislike for residents of another country, you are, without question, a dipshit.
