I'm not sure anyone can answer this for you.

So far, from all I hear from everyone i know in various art fields, and my own experience -
Unless you intend to get a cushy teaching position, degrees are virtually worthless. Career-wise, it's who you know, how you can hustle, and how good you work is. In that order.
You can take the money for the degree, and spend it on materials and travel for experience. Same result. IMHO

very true. I don't care about the degree at all. I just want to learn and have the freedom to do some art stuff.

i'm applying for photojournalism at BU next year, and while there are always "other options," i always enjoyed the mentality of being at school. especially post-high school, where it's active and people actually give a shit.

I'm in the process of applying to grad school now. I may not do it. I guess I'll see if someone will have me ;)

I'm going to community college, but I dropped out of high school for it so what do I know.

from what I always hear, Grad school is a time to make connections and expand your skills by studying what you please without client pressures. I think that the connections are the most important thing though...

I don't know much about photography, in terms of technicalities. Would I be able to learn? or is it a whole lot of thesis junk?
Some might say just be photo assist...
