Anyone find that they just can't keep up with the workload.
Do you struggle to say no to jobs. I do.
Sometimes, I feel like I'm treading water with lead boots on.I don't know how much longer I can maintain this pace. Working from 7am till 10pm.
Meeting most deadlines, but this just ain't sustainable.
Sorry just needed to vent quickly.

Gday Kappa.
Being busy is great. You may need staff/freelancer!
Are you working on anything exciting?

Hey RoyBoy...Yeah your right...
Working on a Luxury Watch Site, Building Developers Site, 3 Real Estate Agent Sites, Corporate ID for a New Bar, A Software Companies ID, and a Trading Company ID and Website...Other than that not much... ;-)
- That's a good lot of work! Should keep you out of trouble awhile.

When I was freelancing, I would always feel that I was sinking under the weight of the work, and then come Christmas, I would panic that I was going to go broke. There is a light.

I'm with ya kappa, I work nights & weekends because I don't say no. My theory is, always keep them happy. And I don't want to risk them going to someone else. Finding a freelancer is a good idea, but, I'm picky about that too. My clients expect a certain level and tight deadlines and sometime freelancers just don't think those are important. So I end up doing it anyways... sigh

at my last job i hired a freelancer to help me with the workload but we brought him into the office that way he was not jerking off and charging us for it. projects got done on time and it was good to have him there to answer questions right then we would plan on one - two days a week he could come in and work for the entire day he liked it it got him out of this house look for a freelancer thats not afraid of coming into the office.
- Yeah I've got spce in my office for someone to work here full time if need be, my developer is only here sometimes...-kappa-

I agree with traut, freelancers who "work from home" can sometimes be just as bad as colleagues who phone in sick and "work from home".
I think it's a matter of working smart and not so much working hard anymore.

Your all right, thanks guys.
Getting someone to design for me is a big deal, production I can easily go over and know if they're on the money. I'd still like to maintain design control.
