ok so i've forgotten the name of the guy who has had a hand in most of the fake computer interfaces you see in futuristic films...
arrgh i know this is vague. his site is blue-ish gray, everything is written in DIN or similar. mmm i think he might have worked on Minority Report. Did his surname start with W?
yes i have tried googling that vague mess.
my brain is clearly swiss cheese.

I've resorted to goobling the answer, which is effectively like sitting here doing your work for you, hoho, so I've mined down to the name: John Underkoffler, who was interface consultant but not designer. I think the bookmark much be on home computer. Sorry vespa.

nope, none of them. not dale herigstad. not kyle cooper.

that's awsome. i never thought someone would have an entire portfolio of film interfaces. i always thought about designing those to look like the actors are doing extremely sophisticated and exstensive imaging capabilities in seconds with lots of stupid graphs etc. cool stuff.

that's an impressive portfolio indeed! nice find!

Hey all, I found this thread during a google search. I've been looking for a repository of film UI for quite a while. I do UI for videogames and wanted to find some good examples in film.
The coleran link is indeed an awesome find, but I have had difficulty finding anything else. Does anyone know of any other resources like this online? I'm mainly interested in vehicle and weapon UI.
