Dudes. I'm taking a stab at building a site with Textpattern for the CMS. Can anyone recommend any good sites/tutorials outside of textbook and the forums on the TP site itself?
At first glance this junk looks complicated. I feel relatively comfortable with html and css, but this is my first time working with any sort of CMS.
Any other Textpattern users out there? How did you find the learning curve?

wasnt that bad .. and i'm not even familiar with html or css that much, but once you get how everything is organized then its a breeze.
i also started with a template i installed for free from textgarden.org .. helped a lot
good luck!

textpattern's site has a resource section. - i have moved a few sites to textpattern - essentially the skeleton is yoiur normal html, then in place of content, you use their <txp:...> tags to include articles (essentially your pages) - other tags are good for navigation etc - i'm still new to it, but the learning curve doesn't seem to be too steep.

yeah, really just takes some thought and practice....
maybe even install a theme/skin and that'll give you a clue as to what a good way to organize your Presentation is......

this may help, you can buy the ebook.
