I have a 300d, so that might not get a lot of curve being a 15mm.
Thats why I'm looking for at least a 10mm

you may find this site useful too.

they may have better tests of wider angle lenses. does the 300d have a 1.5 or a 1.6 ratio?

I have that Tokina fish eye. For the price I paid, it's great. It will depend on what kind of shots your taking and how close. it's a good wide angle and the closer you are to the shot the more curve you'll get, obviously. good luck :) it's a fun lens.

I have a 8mm Peleng. You just focus to infinity and set the aperture to f5.6 and your away. You can just shoot in Aperture Priority (Av) too.
Optically its not bad, you get black corners becuase its so wide but with a 1.4x teleconverter it becomes a 11mm with no black corners. I bought mine out of a car boot in Poland when I was on holiday. Cheap! Takes in a lot of light so its great in low light.

Nice, some dont look that fishy, all taken at 10mm?
How great is the depth of field? The fastest focusing lens is the lens that doesnt need to focus at all!
Love the processing in the last shot, looks like cross processed film.
- yes! all as wide as it goes, I like that you don't see the black edges. specs here: http://www.kenrockwe…Meeklo
- the last shot has very little processing actually, the lighting on that place was perfect acutallyMeeklo

it wont be as the same as getting a FF camera like the EOS 5D.
The XTi, XSi, 20-40D's all have a 1,6x crop factor.

I know, this lens was designed to fit my camera. This lens wouldn't fit on a 5d, and if it did it will be a lot wider than the usual wide lens.
In case you missed the previous posts, I can't consider myself a photographer, I'm a designer that likes to shoot, I'm still figuring out my current camera. A 5D is a lot of camera for me, I would probably feel embarrassed to take it out. :)

as far as most photographers are concerned when the money is teh issue -- all lenses are quite similar. Just get what fits your budget. I prefer faster lenses and lenses with same f sto phroughout teh zoom. SO in my kit the wide angle lens i got is
Tokina 12-24 at f4 -- but it's not fish eye.
I have Russian made Zenitar 16mm at f2.8 -- it's fish eve and the coating isn't that great thus there is not that much contrast

Overall you don't have many options. I have been happy with the Canon Fisheye. To really get sharp pics, you need to shoot at higher aperture and the lens will usually yield some solid results. Works really nice on a FOV crop, full frame gets a lot more chromatic abbreviation and sharpness loss. Neat lens to have in a kit. Solid speed focus, solid build, and overall really fun lens for creative use. Not a must or need, it would better to save up for a wide angle "L" lens.

- what camera are you shooting with? the fisheye effect looks really subtle. I like the photo though!Meeklo
- This was shot with my XTi. On a FOV Crop Camera the fisheye has more of a wide angle feel. On A full Frame it is blown. ;)dibec
- I figured.. that's why I had to get the tokina on my 300d, I wanted curveMeeklo
