What martial arts have you taken and how far have you progressed in your styles?

I took some Tae kwon do before and it was fun. I'm kind of small so it was kind of frustrating at times, but I hope to go back to it sometime...

I used to do one that was a totally made up combination of thai boxing and ju jitsu called thai jitsu which was the brainchild of one of teh original skinheads.
Lessons included how to pick a guy you have brained up by the inside of his cheek and drag him along the floor, causing great pain and possible tearing his cheek in the process.
I didn't last too long, but I still know how to knock out your carotid artery and kill you in under 12 seconds.

I have taken Shito-Ryu karate - green belt, Chung Do Mu Sool Won (a rare Korean style) - middle blue and Tai Chi. I always moved before progressing too far.
I just recently started taken Shotokan with my son. I'm remembering my old kata, learning new ones and am being checked off the list to ensure I am a green belt in that style as well. It has been a lot of fun and good exercise so far.
- Whats the difference in Styles then Seed? I would not mind trying Wado-ryuDancer

I want to learn how to fight like the people in Kill Bill.

- Or I guess I could stick with carrying sharp items with me, and perfecting the technique of poking eyeballs out.Jaline

Anyone remember when the main actor from mc giver was attacked in Serbia a long time ago? Fans got so excited to touch him that things got out of control and he started throwing karate kicks to defend himself, I think there was some footage recorded of this..

I used to do Wing Chun - but as an impatient person found it frustrating. I liked sparring but once I got cocky in a session with beginners so the next session the teacher got in a vastly experienced chap to beat the shit out of me... lessoned learnt

I've done Shotokan Karate, green belt I think, when I was a kid. Tae Kwon Do for a couple of lessons but didn't like it much. Akido for a couple of years and recently did a course in Krav Maga.
Thinking of doing Tai-chi cos I hear its good for posture and mine is shitty after hunching over a desk for years.
