hey all
I'm interested in manufacturing these pillow designs i did. I was wondering if any of you knew how to start doing that. Printing my designs on fabric, sewing them in bulk. Where should i go? I dont have a shit ton of money, so it would need to be done cheaply. Any information would really be lovely. I live in the Los Angeles Area. Thanks!

1. Put pillow case on printing press
2. Hit PRINT
3. Remove
4. Repeat.

depending on your design (colors, complexity) probably best to screenprint the cut pieces and then have them sewed.

or actually pillowcases would fit on a tee screen press so you could even just buy bulk finished blanks.

hrmm.. yeah i could screen print them. But id rather have them printed directly on fabric. I dont know much about this kind of thing but i know there is a fashion district here in LA. i just dont know of any companies and such.
- screenprint is direct onto fabric? use waterbase inks if you want a softer feel.horton

This was discussed in the Etsy forums not too long ago:
http://www.etsy.com/forums_threa…
The place here in Canada I contacted gave me some pricing:
http://www.artistic-textiles.com…"We have 2 cotton canvas fabrics available – 6.5oz and 10oz that is pre-treated. The price per yard is between $23.50 to $28.50 depending on the weight and width you choose, with a minimum of 3 yards. If you have a different weight that you like we can discuss pre-treating it and the price per yard for printing."
I'm probably going to pursue my own fabric line in the near future. Good luck!

OR you could use a Print Gocco & screenprint them yourself. A seamless pattern would be tricky, cuz the screens are only 4"x6"

I've used http://www.dreamfabricprinting.c… and it was alright.
Never tried http://supersample.com/
Or www.digitaltextile.com

waterbase ink screenprint for soft finish, best option. or enzyme wash a plastic print.
or you might be able to find a local printer with one of these new direct print tshirt inkjets.
if its full panel print you'll have to cut & sew.

This place is pretty dope in LA. http://www.4seasongarment.com
I've used them for discharge and water base printing and it came out excellent.
Not sure if they do wide format fabric/belt printing but they might have a hookup in LA if you hit them up.
