Hey,
Our clients coder is asking us to provide him with sliced html files from our Illustrator comps. Normally, I'd assume he meant sliced image files to be re-assembled by hand, but I suspect he wants us to output our illustrator files as actual web ready HTML files. Does Illustrator even have the ability to do this? I'm sure it'll produce god-awful table based code.

It can do it....i don't know that I would recommend it.

So it generates the html pages, and you simply go in and create rollovers and link pages?

If you can't edit how it exports the code in relation to divs or whatever the page structure is, I don't see much use for this. Maybe he just wants the img sizes to be correct with no trouble.
- No, I'm pretty sure he wants us to provide him with web ready html files that he can upload to the server.bort
