Hey guys,
I have flash experience as a designer, can build flash websites, make lovely looking motion etc - but I have an upcoming project that is producing an 'experience' learning tool.
e.g. this kind of thing: http://www.scottishmarketingcomm…
http://www.cokepubandbar.co.uk/v…
So, as a designer using flash, to achieve this level of interactivity will require a lot more coding/actionscript knowledge.
What would be a good set of books to learn (possibly re-learn) about structure, coding, and building experiences in flash 8?
Thanks guys,
Phil

Best 3 books for learning Actionscript 3.0:
Learning ActionScript 3.0: A Beginner's Guide
Essential ActionScript 3.0
ActionScript 3.0 Design Patterns: Object Oriented Programming TechniquesThe first one should get you a long way. Even though it says beginner's guide, it actually gets pretty advanced.
BTW, Flash 9 (CS3) has been out for a while...

Yeah, might as well start clean with Actionscript 3. It's different enough that learning AS2 might not be worth the time.

I vote for Essential ActionScript 3.0.

ESPtype: I don't understand your note. Are you saying that you can do AS3 in Flash8? (export as 9 I guess)
