I quit. one of the best decisions I've ever made. What a waste it was.

Yep, such a waste. I smoked for a number of years in my early 20s....and now that I went through the hassle of quitting, I don't miss it at all. It helps that they are banning it in most clubs and bars in big US cities now.

the thing i worried about when quiting was that i'd be a whining bitch anti-smoker or would be one of those wankers that say "oh, i don't smoke, well not cigarettes...". twats. hasn't happened yet. touch-wood although i'm struggling with the heroin.

also, if the chemist tells you they can help insert the suppository for you don't do it and walk out of the store. stat.

I quit cold turkey. You have to be tough if you want to quit. No patches. No gum. No bullshit.

- And yes I know he died of lung cancer.slappy
- can you give a brief synopsis of the book?Llyod
- Its pseudo psychology about why we smoke and how to modify our thinking. No gore stories. Quite repetitive.slappy

One week today for me! I quit last year for 6 months... didnt work but this time Im more committed than ever. When I think about how long Ive smoked for and how much Ive spent and what I could've had saved... blows my mind
- yep. $400 a month for me. like a nice car paymentvan_rijn
- how much money do you also spend on the fire???
what is YTD cost of both?e-pill - the fire? you mean lighters?imnotadesigner

Staying quit isn't easy depending on your social situation. If you go out to bars a lot you'll end up bumming a cig here and there then you'll say fuck it. you'll know you've won when you've broken the drink/smoke connection. it's a real bitch to do.

1 pack a day @ $10
$304 per month
$3650 a year
16 year of smoking = $58,400.00 :O- that's a drop in the bucket for a member of the QBN Handsome ClubLlyod
