Bit of a bugger too if you want satellite TV. "Sorry, we can only get it 3 hours a day when the dish is pointing the right way".

i have a computer in the office where i work. the bearings are off on the hard drive. occaisionally it makes this high pitching squealing/grinding noise.
i don't want to know what kind of noise that thing might make if the turbines go up.
it probably would emit a sound that could make people in a 50 mile radius evacuate their bowels immediately

fucking Dubai those guys have too much money. stupid moving skyscrapers and fake ass islands
- sounds bitter...Jaline
- no, no, I have money to be comfortable. I don't see the point of what they are doing. I despise conspicuous consumption.flashbender

I'm pretty sure it would rotate so slowly that no one inside would notice.

"The slender building would be energy self-sufficient as the turbines would produce enough electricity to power the entire building and even feed extra power back into the grid, said the Italian architect at the unveiling of the project in New York."
- D_Dot0
In a world just coming to grips with the "green" reality, is a building that sucks up energy really what we need?
- Jaline0
It's about time things get more experimental with architecture.
