I just got a new iMac and I need to transfer everything on my laptop over to the iMac. I'm aware that you can transfer it with Firewire but how does that work with the CS3? I've already got it registered at work and on my laptop. You can only register it twice.
I'm sure someone out there has done this.
Lil help?

Copy over /Users/-----/Library/ and /Library/Application Support and /Library/Preferences
See if it works when you do that.

Or contact Adobe. I've registered mine more than twice, and downloaded it more than twice from the site. (I bought the download, not the discs.)

I think BonSeff is right. I'll try that. THanks.

you need to reinstall CS3 on the new machine.. copying the application and folders is not going to work.

I have it running on my desktop and my laptop works fine. Just don't use at the same time.
