This is from the Daily Mail June 18th 2008 and shows a stunning crop circle, 150 foot wide that has appeared nearBarbury Castle, an Iron Age hill fort above the village of Wroughton in Wiltshire.
It is said to show the first ten digits of Pi - the ratio of the circumference of a circle to the diameter. The tenth digit has even been correctly rounded up. The little dot near the centre is the decimal point. The code is based on ten angular segments, with the radial jumps being the indicator of each sequence.

Until last week I'd lived in Winchester for ten years. Never heard about this though.
I've seen a few crop circles whilst driving around Hampshire. Me and some friends used to go up this mountain on the edges of Winchester to get stoned and watch the sunset in the summer. This one time as we got to the top (a big clearing with grass and a tiny forest in the middle), we saw three red lights in the sky that seemed to just stay still for ages then all of a sudden they zipped upwards and the lights dimmed quickly.
We all thought,
"Cool."Then we sat down, forgot about it and smoked some bifters.

I saw a light this week, and before that two beams going from right to left really fast, not shooting stars.
