it's all cool and all - but i don't suppose you heard of flickr?

Nice pics. But seriously, how about a more meaningful title than a few numbers. Yes, I can use a camera too, so I know what they mean - but ... *sigh* just give it a non-retarded topic in the future okay?
And giving away your probable high-school location isn't so clever either, I'd be more careful what you put on the net.
Keep shooting!

i knew what s/he was talking about. i am saving up for the d300 myself and the 85 1.8 is made for portraits really. not landscapes. take pics of girls for pete's sakes. make they look fantastic and good things will happen. srsly.

so that's the new San Mateo High. I haven't been there in about 17 years. I grew up in San Mateo. Weird.

arthur, judging by the fact that omgitsacamera is 17 who lives in the same city, and you havent been there for 17 years. i say he is your son.

stop ruining my theories, let me win one for once.

I stayed in San Mateo for half a year, my first snowless winter. Every time it re-emerges on QBN the memories come back..
To make things clear: omgitsacamera had already been born when I came there.
Can't see the images here at work though, smugmug is blocked and the system logged I was about to watch something wrong for each image I didn't see.

Leaving in two hours to go help film stuff at school. I'll try to get some girls, but it's a sausage fest based on facebook numbers...

Fuck zooms, go prime!

I just bought a 28-200 for my nikon d50 (all I need) sigma, fantastic lens. Love it. As an amateur it's great.

85mm does give you that silky smooth look with nice bokeh. But I personally think on a DX camera it's a little long, It'd be perfect on a FX. I've been looking at the 24-70mm 2.8 for a while. after that, i'll have to sit back and wait till the D700's price drop or the next model comes out.

I'm focusing my monies on a domain and either a Hassie or a Mamiya. I could just rent what ever lens/body I need from borrowlenses.com, their office is like a couple blocks away from school.

I saw the movie "Howard the Duck" at a movie theatre in San Mateo in 1986.

I'm out to shoot. Later.
- thanks for letting us know .. we are waiting for your return anxiouslyMojo
