I'm sure the majority of you are freelancers (even so, you can probably still answer this question), but for those in smaller agencies (1-15), do you use any online project management/collaboration tools or software? If so, what kind (proprietary, open source, commercial)?

Aside from an excel spreadsheet, does anyone use a simple project tracking or job tracking tool (job name, status, priority, billing schedule, etc.?) for internal audiences?
- have you seen this? http://getharvest.co…
no prj.mgm, but great for tracking.gung_hoek - Nice. Thanks for the link!kfpoore

I just saw Traffic http://www.sohnar.com/ advertised in Computer Arts last month. Anyone know anything about it?

Traffic (see above) claims to do Gantts. Haven't used t but it looks alright from their movie thing. Not a PM though, so consider that a disclaimer.

Conceptshare for showing things to clients and discussing points.Seems like basecamp is the winner around here hey! It is afterall a very powerful app...

Basecamp, Harvest and sadly sometimes Microsoft Project because of my clients demand it for sign-off. (Copper Project is also quite good but have only used it for about 2 weeks once)
Why is everyone stuck on this GANTT thing? If you're stuck doing projects that require Waterfall, you should easily be able to manage. I'd argue that having a shared knowledge base and discussion threads among your team members is a hell of a lot more valuable than a chart on the wall.

Anyone have any experience (good or bad) with PHP open source based apps that the user can host - i.e. a non payment/hosted basecamp-esque type PM tool?
