I still think we (Chargers) have a chance. Denver is the only strong team in our division (sorry Morilla) and we should have beat the Broncs today, not by much, but it should have been a win. This is the same shit we went through last year.
I swear though...if Norvel and Ted Cottrell are still there next year, I might be shopping for a new team. Both these guys are complete boneheads. Norv runs LT straight up the gut about 90% of the time, even my grandmother knows that Tomlinson is only average up the middle and golden in space. Why have I not seen LT get that signature pitch and run around the left side???? In the 06 season that was the bread and butter...now he's splitting the tackles every play! And Cottrell is so afraid of the 'big play' that he doesn't turn our linebackers loose on the QB, instead he drops guys back into coverage and gives the receivers and the QB all the time they need to actually make the big play.
It's maddening watching their play calling. We've got 53 extremely talented athletes and a couple of monkeys telling them what to do.
Maybe we'll pick up Kiffin on Tues Morilla. News on the street is that Al Davis is going to be the new Owner, GM and coach of your beloved Faiders. :O
- uhhhh, get your info straight. Lofton will prolly step in.morilla
- and I never said the Raiders were the shit, they are rebuilding. It's SD that is a huge disappointment.morilla
- I never get it with them,,, so much talent... But just fall flat.morilla
- Yeah I was just messin about Davis becoming coach. But yeah, definitely disappointed over here. :(tommyo
- Btw, Lofton is a good dude. We fired him last year so you're getting our sloppy seconds. But in all honesty I'd rather ...tommyo
- him be our coach than Norvel Turner. :(tommyo
- Al needs to go soon, it will always be F-ed with him at the helm.morilla
- Isn't that part of their charm? Old out-of-touch creepy Al Davis leading the charge! He's like a meat eating Liberace.tommyo
- It is, but his thoughts of the game don't fit into the current structure. I hear his son will take over. Who
morilla - is more in tune with the current NFL startegymorilla

- I'm tired of the NFL (since Championship Weekend 2007 - I quit.)peteski
- I love T.O. and always have. And I hate Dallas ... but I don't abhor them as much since he suited up.flavorful
- I'm more into the EPL to be honest. But gambling makes me love the NFL still ... that and the Steelers, haha.flavorful
- "A black president? Half of Pennsylvania isn’t ready for a black quarterback."peteski
- Opposite for me. Hated TO, loved the Cowgirls... I don't hate him as much since he put on the star.Point5
- I liked TO when he was on the Eagles, hated him otherwisemagnificent_ruin
- Uh ... where is that quote from, haha? And I fucking loved when he ran to the Star all those years back with the 49ers!!!!flavorful
- 49ers!!! hahaha he's great!!!flavorful
- TO's like Deion Sanders; everyone hated him only when he wasn't playing for their teamPoint5
- and I still don't forgive TO for that Star incident. That's the one thing that keeps me from being on his sac.Point5
- Man, I remember the one playoff game between 49ers/Giants and my friends behing diehard Giant fans.flavorful
- 49ers are down a couple touchdowns and I'm talking shit on how they are going to win, haha, and sure enoughflavorful
- T.O. comes through in the clutch and they take it. I was less than gracious in victory, but I'll never forget that game.flavorful
- Didn't explain all that hilarious,so I'm sorry.flavorful

I'm happy for Rodgers. I hope he can hang onto this victory.

Man.... What if Marty came to coach for Oakland? Oh my.....

- tell you what, I would say fuck it and come up there to the Pitt for the game if it wasn't going to be -100°F in Dec. up therePoint5
- hahaha you have a place to stay ... but Pittsburgh has been benefiting greatly from the Greenhouse Effect.flavorful
- It'll only be like ... 12 degrees probably. I won't even have thought about wearing a coat yet.flavorful

Wouldn't happen. I guess he and Davis hate each other. There was something that happened where I guess Davis screwed Marty over .. so Marty is the winningest coach in terms of playing Al Davis. His record is insane, something like 20 - 3 against the Raiders. Remember the start of the 06 season? First game the Chargers played the Raiders and there was some ridiculous amount of sacks. I want to say 10 or something. Marty goes all out against Davis.
- Yeah, it was back in the day. I I think it was when Marty first started out. But it would make for a great story.morilla

Jets vs Pats tonight, should be fun to watch
Im going to say 23 - 17 Jets
- marctorrence0
Should be an interesting year. Chargers 0-2. Colts 1-1 (should be 0-2). Pats without Tom Brady. Denver doing surprisingly well? Same with the Packers.
- Point50
It's a win Chargers nerds!
and can anybody tell me exactly how Favre ended up at the Jets? I know the part about him coming out of retirement and being put at #2 behind Rogers at GB, but why the Jets of all teams? I could have sworn he was Tampa bound.
- guess they needed him and thought they could make it all the way with himLlyod
- tommyo0
haha yeah check it out ... 9 sacks and a shut out. Sept '06 - http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp…

Going to the Steeler game on Sunday!!

- Actually I am really nervous for this game. You guys are good and we have been crap.capn_ron
- For as bad as we played against the Colts, we still should have won that game.flavorful
- Chargers lostJazX
