"People like TBO and dobs only support Russia's actions because conservatives condemn those same actions."
- Hedge. Please, point out here or anywhere, in my words, where I said I supported Russia's actions. Oh I forgot, you just make shit up all the time.

Your Neocon MADLIBS Vol #3 post was fairly indicative of your feelings toward the situation.
- No, they were indicitive of my opinion of your piss poor attempt at inflammatory thread starting.TheBlueOne

So hedge, you wanna finally meet up for some dinner or drinks in NYC like you asked me twice before and then never showed up? We can have some good conversations about economics and global politics over some good 12 year scotch.
Or will you agree to meet, then post "Blue I'll call you..." even thought you don't have my number and then pretend it never happened. For the third time?
Loser.
- I'm on the skirts of Iceland right now man.hedge

Don't be silly hedge, if there was a war Russia would fucking destroy America and any other country that stood in it's way if it so desired.

Hedge has a strong case regarding Georgia's rights and liberties as a sovereign nation, the well being of it's citizen's and it's borders. However, I strongly feel that the European Union (EU) & The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) should take the leading role in dealing with Russia's aggression, not the USA. This conflict is in the EU's backyard and not the USA. We should definitely play the supporting role to the EU & NATO and not the leading role. THE USA is not in the business of "nation building" just look at Iraq and Afghanistan for examples of failure on a global scale...
- I totally agree!!!moamoa
- I would agree with that. By militaristic action, I didn't necessarily mean from the US.hedge
- EU/NATO= USABattleAxe
- True, but unfortunately the NATO Security Council is a complete joke.flashbender

Bananaland and its citizens are a part of NAMBLA and rightly should be. Gilbert Godfried's recent actions against Chewbacca are a gross violation of basic human rights and they warrant a militaristic response in my opinion.

I feel like we are gradually growing apart TBO and it makes me sad.
- Ever experienced man love Hedge? I know its frowned upon by your organisation, but before you joined?Spookyhome

Well the russians completely fucking annhialated the germans in ww2 some thing nuts like all the armoury the russians destroyed was the same as the us and brits managed in total, and Hitler had to move shit loads of his troops to the east as Russia was going fucking nuts ripping the shit out of all of hitlers defenses and previously gained ground. Russia went nuts cause hitler said he would not be nonaggressive towards them so they tore his army to shit and sacrificed more than any other nation in the war, this is not a country to be fucked with.
- They are the berserkers of the world.Spookyhome
- and now, they have some shit to prove. They really don't care about NATO or the US, which >flashbender
- is what makes them awesome and scary at the same time.flashbender

- countries either way don't fuck with Russia.chossy
- Also, if the opposing force is just a bunch of farmers with WW2 rifles hiding in caves with no uniform ...Spookyhome
- ... then beating them becomes an abstract concept.Spookyhome
- Russia does not currently occupy
Afghanistan, therefore the victory goes to
Afghanistan.mcLeod

- Did't you hear? Russia's Nuclear viability was blended down and used to Power US nuclear power stations.Spookyhome
- It wont be nuclear, it wont even be a war, Russia will just put their foot on a pipeline and everything will grind to a halt.Spookyhome
- chossy0
no way man, I will speculate all I want, both sides know that the war in Georgia will be fought there, christ on a crutch no country on earth would fight on it's own doorstep if they can help it, and if it came to that America's coat would be on a shakey peg cause all it's troops are in iraq.
