Flash font mapping - PC to Mac

We just received some .fla files from our developer and need to make a few small text changes. Unfortunately, he built the site on a PC, and we're on MACs. There are 3 fonts used in the file: Scala, Scala Sans and Berthold Akzidenz Grotesque. I've selected the appropriate substitute fonts. Both Scala's are loading fine, but I'm still getting a "some text uses fonts not installed on your system. This text will display and publish using font mapping below."
Akzidenz is definitely not loading, because the distortion from the the font mapping is visible and the tracking is out of wack.
Any way to alleviate the problem?

I'll get the obvious question out of the way.
Can you reset the type with your version of Akzidenz?

I'd rather not. There is a considerable amount of copy. That, and resetting it would open us up to further errors with typos etc.

setup bootcamp... install windows xp... install flash... get fonts... rejoice in the pain you are no longer in...
... this is what I've had to do - because I got nothin' else.
- Reasonable, but probably ain't gonna work cuz my employer isn't going to pay for a bootcamp licence, XP licence, flash CS3 licencebort

Thanks for the insight dudes. Looks like we're hiring another developer to go in and make tweaks a monkey (a monkey with a PC, and smarter than myself) could make.

For what it's worth, I think he built it with AS2. Shit still resides on the timeline, but all linkage/transitions/nav etc seems to be controlled by AS.
