President Donald Trump floated putting solar panels on his planned Mexican border wall in a meeting with legislative leaders Tuesday afternoon, according to White House and Capitol Hill officials.

Seems like every day a new low which Trump supporters will defend and justify. How about this one...
How Donald Trump Shifted Kids-Cancer Charity Money Into His Business
https://www.forbes.com/sites/dan…
The Donald J. Trump Foundation, which has come under previous scrutiny for self-dealing and advancing the interests of its namesake rather than those of charity, apparently used the Eric Trump Foundation to funnel $100,000 in donations into revenue for the Trump Organization.
And while donors to the Eric Trump Foundation were told their money was going to help sick kids, more than $500,000 was re-donated to other charities, many of which were connected to Trump family members or interests, including at least four groups that subsequently paid to hold golf tournaments at Trump courses.
All of this seems to defy federal tax rules and state laws that ban self-dealing and misleading donors. It also raises larger questions about the Trump family dynamics and whether Eric and his brother, Don Jr., can be truly independent of their father.
Especially since the person who specifically commanded that the for-profit Trump Organization start billing hundreds of thousands of dollars to the nonprofit Eric Trump Foundation, according to two people directly involved, was none other than the current president of the United States, Donald Trump.

'James Clapper says Watergate 'pales' in comparison with Trump Russia scandal'

'He said he had a “real hard time reconciling the threat the Russians pose to the United States and, by extension, western democracies in general” with the solicitousness of the Trump administration towards Moscow. “The Russians are not our friends,” he said.'

Troubling to think that Trump supporters like omg think all media is fake news... except for Fox and Breitbart. Why? Because his leader said so. Because those outlets fit their world view and the others don't.
Does someone not like this see that when authority attacks media it NEVER turns out well?
Also take a peak at where real journalists work, what desks pulitzers are landing on, what publications truly are "news". Funny that Murdoch is nowhere to be seen in those parts.
- Why tell the truth when you can make more money than God selling tits and hacking dead children's 'phones.face_melter

Georgia GOP House candidate: 'I do not support a livable wage'
Full quote:
“This is the difference between being a liberal and a conservative. I do not support a livable wage," Karen Handel said during a debate with Democrat Jon Ossoff.
“What I support is making sure that we have an economy that is robust with low taxes and less regulation,” she added.
I'd like to know what the GOP/omg/robo spin on this will be. I'll just leave it at that.
You know there's a great scene in a good older movie that I liked even though its politics were a bit too transparent...I'm proudly liberal, but it was too good v evil...anyway, Matewan, dir John Sayles. Anyway, it's about a battle between West Virginia union coal miners in the early 20th c and the coal company. There's a speech by a union organizer, played by Chris Cooper, where he angrily denounces the white miners who are trying to exclude black or Italian miners from the would-be union.
"You think this man is the enemy? Huh? This is a worker! Any union keeps this man out ain't a union, it's a goddam club! They got you fightin' white against colored, native against foreign, hollow against hollow, when you know there ain't but two sides in this world - them that work and them that don't. You work -- they don't. That's all you got to know about the enemy."
I always wonder with Repubs and their supporters...are they all business owners who feel like their workers are all trying to screw them? Or are they workers who are just addled? I mean, who the fuck doesn't support a livable wage?

- since there are enough jobs for everyone, everyone is skilled, and not a single person has a disability, it seems like everyone-for-themsel... is just fine :/monospaced
- plus, healthcare is now more affordable than ever with Trumpcare, especially for people with pre-existing conditions, and nobody needs a living wage for that!monospaced
- forget all about the feasibility, just remember that there's now more "choice." employers can choose to pay less, and people can choose to find a better jobmonospaced
- and if the shop in town won't cater to you because of your beliefs or sexual orientation, you have the choice to drive elsewhere to spend that living wagemonospaced
