Do you mean Insignia? That's Best Buy's cheap brand. They are assembled out of used Super Nintendo parts and God only knows where they got the actual LCD screens.
- There are actually only a few panel makers, so I wouldn't be surprised if these have the same panels as name brands.designbot
- but with Super Nintendo parts, and used ones at that. do not forget that part.mg33
- yes I saw it at best buyBattleAxe
- ahhh...missed that one :)
No deal!designbot - The processing chip/software is as, if not, more important to picture quality. Cheap brands, cheap processing.ETM

no deal for sure. i just recently purchased a 42" sony bravia 1080p lcd for about $1200 bucks. alot, yea... but i didn't wanna cheap out on an investment that's gonna be here for a while. check out frys if you get sometime, i saw a 42" samsung (720p tho) plasma for 799.

good price, but IMO the Vizio's are worth the extra $200—contrast ratio is much better and they just look better. Insignia is not impressive. But if all you care about is price, it's on.

costco has some great deals unless you have a decent coupon from best buy for no payments for 2 years then use that but Insignia isn't the best I learned.

I've posted before about Samsung... 52" LCD is incredible. I think it's $1999 right now. probably find a better deal looking around.
