It was after I contacted them ;)

Well, i think someone from the Offf organization must have seen this post on QBN or the other on the CPLUV..and before getting on trouble, gave your pic full credits...
- tile0
I'm not doing this for free tickets ... it's one less expense I can bring in for my taxes ;)
I'm not doing this for the superfluous fame that might come from it.
I'm just doing it, cause offf is supposed to be an industry event to bring together like-minded people ... and if using eachothers material without permission/credit is part of being "like-minded", I suppose something isn't quite right.
- Leigh0
that wasn't hard for them now was it.

I agree, send them an email letting them know you are aware of what they did and wait to see what they offer/say.
If they are assholes about it, get documentation, contact an attorney and get paid son!
They should know better, I am sure they won't be happy if start broadcasting their events live without permission...

I'd just tell them, that free tickets and a copyright with your name and website address on the pic would be fine.

Hey Tim..your pic is everywhere...
Offf sucks..btw.

there's an explicit copyright statement on my flickr ... stating "All rights reserved"
anyways, it's all about karma
- All rights reserved. And then allowing people to download it at any size is a mistake.Iggyboo
- And its not about karma tile its about bad business. Just contact them or send an invoice if they give you shit.Iggyboo
- flickr is about showing images (hence the full-size), not sharing them for un-credited use. Anyway, they credit me now and I'm not in it for the moneytile
- now and I'm not in it for the money ... as long as the game stays fair in a waytile
- Iggyboo0
Send them a cease and decist but protect your own photography man. Look at those creative rights more closely on your flickr account before you have this happen again. You didn't request even the credit due on it.

Just saw this one passing by
http://www.cpluv.com/www/feedite…
- tile0
no, they asked how i'd like to be credited ...
- Tell them one of them would be enough: http://www.one-77.co…Shepstar15
- Dancer0
mention it on their facebook
- Dancer0
and that's all they said....? They didn't say who sent it?
DId they say they would remove it or credit you?
- shinpo0
likely excuse... still kill em
- tile0
they said somebody sent them this pic ...
- sputnik20
just send them a cease and desist letter
- Dancer0
I find the problem is that OFF knowingly went onto Flickr with the intention of pinching someone's image and thought the would get away with it. I am extremely surprised you did not contact them BEFORE coming on here to mouth offf their wrong doing (unless you did and they told you to FFFF-offf)
*gets coat

they make money out of this festival and they use your images.
cheeky twats.
