- wooah for $300 you can get a super-tech avalanche pack with airbagsMiguex
- for quality backpacks, 300 is reasonable. have you seem women's brand name purse cost? its stupid.pango
- Oh I agree, I'm comparing it with similar looking packs from brands like K2 or Dakine that offer more tech features than this one.Miguex
- Don't get me wrong, this one looks nice and all.. maybe it's an indep company that do low runs or somethingMiguex
- Yea semi-small US based company. Guy who started it is ex-special forces or some shit. They typically have a huge sale around memorial day if your interested.ridg0026
- could go w/o the flag.notype
- @notype, same but it's a velcro application so you can put any patch you want there which is kinda coolMiguex

My buddy was showing me this bag that he had from a low-cost brand called Quechua, it was a backpack that could almost double it's size via zippers and could be folded into a big duffle bag, material was like rubber/ plastic all waterproof, looked super fancy and he said is pretty cheap
Here's another one I found online from the same brand:
https://www.quechua.co.uk- This is the one he had
https://www.youtube.…Miguex - really hate the mark.notype
- the wordmark is terrible, but quality of the backpack was surprising, and it's a lo cost brand, some of their bags go for like under $10 which is nutsMiguex
- This is the one he had

"Recycled polyester fabric body with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish offers a perfect balance of weight and durability for everyday use.
Generous main compartment; zippered stash pockets on lid and front panel; raised, padded sleeve protects most 15" laptops
Human Curve shoulder straps for carrying comfort
Top-mounted, reinforced haul handle.468 g (1 lb .5 oz)"
I've been using the same patagonia backpack for past 4 years. Black, has faded in sunlight so I'd get a non-black colour next time, but otherwise perfect low priced backpack. Comfy enough for a 2 day mountain hike. Kept my laptop dry in rain. Zips still smooth, material not ripped.

The first backpack I've ever had not to break after 6 months of abuse. I've had it for over two years. It's amazing. Mines blue with brown leather like some of the previous posts here. Bonus, if you look at it just right baby-face bias makes it look like a derpy face.

I've been using this since 2012. First once got chewed by a rat in my hut in Thailand or a round the world trip a year later (never leave food in your bag!). My second one has lasted me since then with daily use.
Straps saved my ass when I had to clamber out of a glacier and needed both hands, but mostly it's used to carry wet swimming trunks and towel, or jackets that just don't fit inside.
The side pouches mean you just sling one shoulder off and it whips round. You can access it with one hand, which is great for cycling.
