Typography Book Recommendation

Guys, someone on QBN within the last couple of weeks linked to a typography book on one of the threads - it looked awesome and I can't remember what it was!
It was a typographer getting annoyed with the younger designers coming into the studio who were letting too many mistakes go through so he set out a studio typography rulebook. Then when he retired he published it up as a proper book. I remember the example I saw was whether to put spaces before or after a stroke.
Can anyone identify it from these rather sketchy details? Big thanks.

Thanks but it is neither of those two. It's driving me mad. The web is just so damn big, and my history too small.
It looked like quite a small book, all type rather than images.
I have that it was Jan Tschichold in my head but that might be completely wrong. It was short explanations of why to do / not to do certain things then an example set in the type.
