I was going to buy this shirt...until I realized it was $32.00. I mean shit, That's fucking high for a t-shirt. I have trouble paying any more that $20.00 for a t-shirt, but $32.00. Why?

How do you consider $32 TOO MUCH for a limited edition (only 50 printed) shirt by these legendary writers?
In fact, you consider it SUCH an outrageously high price, that you found it within reason to start a thread about it... seriously?

I find that in the US, t-shirts are priced much higher in comparison to other items of clothing. Ex. a pair of jeans can cost around 25dols but a t-shirt will cost the same or more... Shouldn't it be other way round?

123Klan? never heard of em.

Who cares if it's limited? Print more than 50 then. So if they printed 5 then they could charge $200.00 a piece. Look at me, I'm way cooler than you because only 3 of my shirts were printed ever.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of 123klan and have been for quite some time. I just think that's a lot of dough to throw down on a t-shirt.
- if you are a huge fan, buy one. and stop cunting about it.digdre

Really? I don't think that's too much. Save the outrage for something that is really expensive, there are plenty examples out there.

So, is the issue that this shirt is out of your price-range?
They obviously weren't looking to mass produce theses shirts - more of a limited edition idea inherently being the plan.
If you find the shirt really fresh, why don't you use 'your budget' for two shirts on this one? Own one less shirt, but in return have one limited edition/special one that really like.
Just a suggestion.

Hey y'all
we also agree with you, tee prices are way too expensive,
especially from few brands where the quality of the print and the tee are very wack.To clear out the situation, the price depends in fact of retailers, stores and of course the cost of production.
So we can't sell teeshirts cheaper than stores that sell our brand,
that's how we came up with this regular fare of 32$ (without shippement.)Also, all our tees are limited, and 100% made in north america
tee + print, wich cost way more expensive to produce compare to china goods. Our goal is to provide high quality tees, with a good tee fit and a high Print quality, that's also why we justify this price as well.So of course we're not the cheapest, but if you wash your tee, it won't shrunk or look vintage, wich is not the case of many brands to my opinion.
So if you can afford it, thank you very much for your support.
If you can't, just wait for the next spring sales and check if we still got your size in stock ;)happy new year to all of you

i buy lots of tshirts from anywhere and everywhere - from $200 to $5 - all my favourites are around $20-30 - but my absolute fav's were bought for around $8 but i'd happily pay $80 for them....

I don't think I've seen a decent tshirt in shops for less than €30 recently. $32 isn't that much really but if it's too pricey for u then don't buy it. Simple really.

Our shit's price is way cheaper than 32 and I guarantee ours are more expensive to print.
It's part of the whole price it high because you want people to feel special when they buy it or something.
Our prices are 22.99 and all the way down to 15.99 on shirt.woot.com side deal days... generally they cost us about 8-12 bucks a shirt to print and we print on American Apparel and give away free shipping.
That's all you should ever pay for a shirt. I should add we only do quantites of about 36-50 as well.
- Forgot to mention that all of our shirts are american made and printed--we currently don't wholesale like 123klan may do which explains why they have to price high--retail shops sometimes make you sign agreements so that you're not selling your stuff way cheaper which probably explains that locked in price. Still--123klan should try free shipping, more people will buy
timmyblog - i don't like any of your tshirts personally - but all the best to you_me_
- Understandable--ever... has different taste.

123klan may be locked in at wholesale prices with their retail outlets--we don't do that so we can sell whatever we want!
Despite that fact though, we'd sell wholesale at about 14-18 per shirt so they should still be a bit cheaper.
