i am trying to find the best way to travel to NYC (going to see Shrek the Musical on Broadway) and I want to avoid driving into NYC.
So I am looking for train options... I did the train from New Jersey into NYC like 11 years ago for New years, but I do not remember where the train was and all the details.
I think parking in NJ and taking train to NYC is best but i don't know the exact ways to do it...
if you have any info that can help it would be very much appreciated.
thanks

best or cheapest?
taking the bus costs 30 dollars but it's good if you dont mind sitting in it for a few hrs

what does jersey have to do with DC? are you saying you have to take a train from DC to jersey to NY just to get in the city?

Fung Wah: never had any issues and I go to Boston 1-3x/yr.
I live in Hoboken. If you drive here and park in the area, you can take the PATH train ($1.75) to 34th St (12min ride) and walk up the extra 8 blocks.

Bus is the best option. I have a friend who uses it all the time. They all have internet.

don't take the chinatown bus. there's a jewish orthodox bus that's much better around the same price.
