- Maybe just buy it? 23 years has got to pay for most of it!formed
- Been free for us .. it’s my best friends family beach house. They bought the lot for $250,000 back in the mid 90’s and built a million dollar home.Ramanisky2
- Only thing we pay for is food, alcohol, weed and chocolate mushrooms, hehe.
There’s usually about 8 of us there for the week.Ramanisky2 - Gotcha. Good friend to have!formed
- Ass, gas OR grass nobody stays for free @Ramanisky2!
: )
Looks rad.ideaist - Dumb question: Is Seaside still popping? They used to have an amazing record store, Central Square.garbage
- And a dope-ass gourmet hot dog truck.garbage
- It always gave me the "wow, this is in Florida?" vibe.garbage
- Seaside is about 7 miles or so from the house. We’ve been there several times but it’s been a few trips now since we’ve gone.Ramanisky2

- Looks beautiful thereGnash
- We rented it, an old radio post station.
Thanks communism!palimpsest - The rocks are tipically Czech, haven't seen them elsewhere. No proper mountains but hills everywhere so you're quickly out in nature.palimpsest
- The rocks are familiar to me. Very Canadian Shield.Gnash
- Canada is a dream destination of ours. They have areas here that they call little Canada or little 'Murica (red rocks).palimpsest
- The vegetation is more varied than in my area of France so we do get more North American looking autumns.palimpsest
- What a fun trip! Looks amazing out therefuturefood
- Nice!YakuZoku
- nice! can smell the fresh air in these pics too!!Squiddy
- Woinderful. Looks like you must have had some really dark skies to look up into at night and enjoy the immensity of the universe. Beautiful.Nairn
- The light pollution was the only downside
But we did venture into the woods after dark and turned the headlamps off. It was a unique experience for them.palimpsest - One of my best memories is out on the Amazon jungle at night in complete darkness and truly realizing the vastness of life around us.palimpsest
- This is all cool and all, but um.. YOU'RE FRENCH!?garbage
- Legally, yes. It's complicated.palimpsest

Pics from a 3 day walk I did earlier this week in central France. The weather was on my side, overcast and a bit of drizzle now and then. Went through open fields, forests, old railroad tracks and some small villages.
Album: https://imgur.com/a/EsOfafj
- Really nice.
That road with the open fields, is that 35mm?BuddhaHat - Thanks. They're shot on a forgotten Lumix DMC-LX3 I have so I could save phone battery.palimpsest
- HOH HOH HOH, HOW VAS ZE CHEESE AND SNAILS MON FRERE?garbage
- (obviously joking, but props on the LX3. It's one of my favorite cameras of all time. Clearly a man of photographic distinction.)garbage

- Great shots. Also, a pretty hilarious deep cut: we're not the only QBN folk that rock the LX3. If you can guess who it is, you win the Deep Cut Trophy.garbage

I would have said Hijo just because statistically he might have it but I cheated and Bennn has one too. I haven't used it in about 10 years it was fun.palimpsest - Yeah, I broke mine out recently. But also not the answer I was looking for. Kanye used to wear one as a necklace when they came out lol.garbage
- I didn't know that, XD. Was he trying to one up Flavor Flav?palimpsest
- Cool!! +1OBBTKN
- Unintentionally, perhaps. But yeah, he was wearing one as an accessory at a lot of appearances when they came out. Fucking great camera if you set it up rightgarbage
- The macro is beyond ridiculous for the price.garbage
- What brand shoes are those? Love the color.Akagiyama
- They're Salomon. They're an old model (Wings Pro). This was their last trip.palimpsest

Unlike pali, I didn't go to central France. Or any France. Like pali, the weather was also on my side. But unlike pali, my idea of good weather is sun and summer heat. I didn't go through open fields, forests, or old railroad tracks. I did go through some small villages, though.
Mostly, though — unlike pali — I mostly parked my arse on a beach on the Sporades islands in Greece for two weeks until this weekend. Also parked my arse at cocktail bars in the evenings. And in nice hilltop restaurants.
(The last one is a cat that always hung out at my favourite cocktail bar, seen here attracting all the attention by napping cutely in a flower pot)
- lovely ... that water looks amazing.Ramanisky2
- In the end, like pali, it looks like you had a great time.palimpsest
