hi all,
I have an object which i have faded using an opacity mask, the problem is that i lose my outer glow on the masked object, is there any way to keep it?
thanks

could you copy the layer and then set its "fill" to 0%?

Clone the outerglow onto a new layer over the top?
Hard to know based on the description you provide. I find the easiest way is often the most obvious way, and that is usually "paint it back on in a new layer".

I am trying something like this:

In illy cs3, it was a pain in the arse, I've heard in cs4 its easier, just trying to figure it out.
