my lady friend is coming back to new york and she wants to go out for dinner. any recommendations for greenwich village (or in that general vicinity) restaurants that are good and decently priced?

Price range? What kind of atmosphere?

Where in Village I should ask, Central? West? East?

$15 max per person. i guess it's ok if it's noisy. it just needs to be intimate, and i think she's expecting something trendy.

Always good idea. There was this place in Nolita that I loved but I cant remember the name..
The main restaurant was on top and at the bottom was another more casual one. It served some what Italian like food. The down stairs place walls were like large stones.. etc that was good but above $15
