well, if you're going to ask for a site crit, and you steal the site, what do you really expect? It says alot about your integrity as a designer. How far do you really expect to get by taking other people's work and masking it as your own?

wow.
having been privvy to rybos development from student to international art director. Rybos did it in 3 weeks.
It took me 10 years.
I'd dip my hat if you hadn't robbed it a week ago.

You copy your heroes a bit to hard and your arrogance is baffling
( yes i used the word baffling).
I was asked to help on a book about giving advice to graphic designers & want over my advices is 'you're only gonna die from your own arrogance'. That is so true for you, you think you reached stardom because you are doing a few make believe projects and sometimes chat to Ian from Designer's Republic.That my friend, is just a little part of the spectrum of being a designer. You do succeed at being an asshat, so if i ever make a book called 'asshatism' you are my number one spot.
I'm sorry man, but you bring out the worst in me, you make me cringe by your shallow, arrogant stance at being a designer.
This title really apllies to you son,

the site isn't bad, the work is pretty ok for a student... your logo needs a bit of kerning though.. more space between the 'y' and the ' '4' and a bit less space between the '4' and the '7' for starters..
- yes, for a student is ok, but the guy acts like he invented originality and that really bothers metank02

I have an idea that might help you... stop posting stuff on here, as it seems to cause you more bother than is actually worth. I know this will be hard, as you care more about your own aesthetic/acceptance as a trendy image maker than the actual craft and integrity of the work you produce, because if you did (as skt pointed out in another thread) your presentation is poor, attention to detail is non existent, and your grammar is bordering on the illiterate.I don't think you are terrible designer, I've seen a lot worse!!!, however your attitude is terribly frustrating, although it amuses me a lot... "genius steals" hardly the case here!! but the manner in which you reacted to johndiggity like a wounded animal, is very sad, pretty insulting, but must be very embarrassing (I wouldn't be able to cope) so I guess you must have very thick skin, perhaps it should be Rhino instead of Rybo?
I know this is only a pretty small piece of cyberspace, but the way in which you conduct yourself in here, with the lack of integrity and imagination, might go some way to damaging any credibility you may need for your career. You'll be surprised to know how many people visit here, as lurkers, for instance a few weeks ago I was chatting to a good friend about work and stuff, and he brought up QBN, now I always thought he was way to busy to waste time on here, but he does!, not as an active member, but he regularly visits, and he's the C.D of a very big, influential company! and if you want to qualify this sort of thing, I'm sure Baskerville will be able to tell you a thing or two.

Well i like the site. Nav looks good and theres some lovely work on there, overall good stuff. One thing, I think some space between the project images would help to define them a bit more, I really like the 'fury' piece John.

Anyway, rip and attitude aside, it wasn't until my second view of the site that I even noticed the scrollbar at the bottom and the fact that there was more work on the site. If it happened to me, I have no doubt it my mind that it'll happen to others.

Understand that a lot of designers have a connection with their work, considering the time they spent perfecting it. And when you simply take that and not give them credit (and worse claim it as your own) is the worst thing a designer can do in the profession. Shows complete lack of respect towards them and the art. That being said, you are only 19 so in the future, show respect and humility and you'll go far.
